Courses available.

At inlingua Bern we teach over 20 languages: Arabic, Brazilian-Portuguese, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Norweigan, Romanian, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Spanish, Swedish, Swiss German, Thai, Turkish. Further languages are available on request.

We are proud of the fact that we offer a wide variety of courses. This allows us to offer optimal solutions to students’ needs:

Group Courses (evening classes) – 2 lessons per week / 6 to 9 participants. Languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Mini Courses (afternoon and evening classes) – 2 lessons per week / 3 to 5 participants. Languages: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, Finnish, German, Swiss-German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian-Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai. Other languages are available on request.
Weekly courses last for a quarter. People who already have some knowledge of their target language can join an existing class at any time of the year. Otherwise, inlingua Bern regularly starts classes for beginners.

Espresso Courses (08.00 am – 16.30 pm), 1 x 1 hour or 2 x 1 hour per week, 2 - 4 participants. Languages: see mini Courses.

Intensive Group Courses for German: 3 - 5 hours per week, 2 - 4 participants. N.B. During the summer vacation in July intensive classes in English and French are also given.

Courses for diploma preparation (evening classes) – 2 lessons per week / 5 to 8 or 4 to 6 participants. Languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Classes take place once a week for: PET, FCE, CAE, CPE ILEC, BEC Preliminiary to Higher, ICFE, DELF / DALF, CELI, DELE and Goethe B1 - C1. As a rule, inlingua exam preparation courses last a year. The starting date for the classes is fixed acording to the date of the exam. Candidates must first do an entrance test before enrolling in such a course.
These classes take place either on Saturday morning or twice a week (during the day or in the evening). Students need to book for at least a quarter. Those who have previous knowledge of a language may join an existing class.

Private lessons (one to one). Languages: All languages.
Tailor-made courses are available for individuals who wish to prefer one-to-one language training. Classes are booked according to a student’s availability.

Private groups. Languages: All languages.
Courses are arranged for small groups. Two or more people should form their own group and then contact inlingua to discuss what sort of program they would like.

Courses for firms. Languages: All languages.
We teach groups of 3 to 8 people. Lessons are given to employees of a company at their business premises and given whenever it is convenient for them. Courses are tailor-made to fit the needs of the participants.
