| 1968 | The inlingua network of franchised language centres is founded in Bern. |
| 1975 | In Geneva, inlingua is born as inlingua Geneva. |
| 1996 | After 20 years, the first owner of inlingua Geneva retires and sells the school to the current owner, M.H.Heeger. |
| 1997 | The school grows rapidly and more floor space is acquired. |
| 2002 | The EduQua Certificate, a Swiss recognition of quality in training providers, is awarded to inlingua Geneva. |
| 2005 | Recertification of inlingua Geneva by EduQua. In the meantime the network of inlingua schools has grown to over 300 schools in 30 countries. The inlingua School in Geneva employs 55 people from 18 countries, of whom approximately a third are in full-time positions, and offers training in more than 15 languages. |
| 2007 | In Search of Excellence: The management of inlingua Geneva puts in place an ambitious plan to maintain and improve constantly the quality of our teaching and services. |
